ALSO, will the TCS 2009 GT-2 class allow the TA05 IFS * R * chassis or is it restricted to just the TA-05 IFS ?? ( and TB-03 IFS too )
A relative noob to TCS will be eternally grateful for your wisdom
here is a link to the rules :

and a quick snippet to both GT-3 and GT-2.
Note the explicit list for GT-3 chassis's and lack of a long list for GT-2 :

Its just odd that they delineated the '05 IFS-R chassis in GT-3 but didn't in GT-2.
The mention of GT-2 being a "TRUE SPEC" class also throws me a bit.

So the "R" is just a set of hopups and this is what makes you sure the IFS-R is allowed ?

but .... in the GT-3 class they mention the '05 IFS-R... and presumably the rules were written at the same time ? or......
#9988
I'm going to venture out and say you're gonna be fine with the IFS-R. Since the rules allows for Tamiya hop-ups, you can buy a IFS, upgrade to "R" spec, and that would be totally legal. Or you can just buy the "R" spec and race that...you're fine either way.
I could be totally wrong as I have not been keeping up lately with TCS, but base on my experience in the last 7 years or so running TCS...you're good with the "R" for GT-2.
