What's the most powerful .21 currently available for under 200 bucks? The Elite - or the Bonito at Novarossidirect? Or something else? I guess the cheap Bonito doesn't have the good front bearing or whatever? Is that a big deal if you're not racing? I just want a silly overpowered buggy for messing around... Thanks.

Edit - Nevermind. That is the good bearing if I'm not mistaken..

http://www.novarossidirect.com/BONITO-21-7XLB-Limited_p_3209.html

I see nothing is in stock there.

Then there are these:

https://www.absolutehobbyz.com/novarossi-bonito-21-7xlb-off-road-buggy-engine-limited-edition-steel-bearings.html (why the orange head?)

https://www.absolutehobbyz.com/novar...-bearings.html (not good front bearing..)

Then there is this one available over here in Germany:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/NOVAROSSI-BO...oAAOSwI5FeZ-sG

Sure seems to be a lot of different looking Bonitos out there..

Virtus für €190...:

Looks like they could also order the Elite for €150...

You think that those 0.2mm (+/- 1.5%) difference in bore and stroke is giving a better feeling?

Forget it! There are many other things that will give you that feeling but not the bore and stroke.

if you want over powered run a .28 with a 15tooth clutch bell, if you want fast get whatever GT engine is selling the cheapest and change out the front bearing for a rubber seal

Thanks. Don't want to change any bearings...

I was at a race years ago and somebody was running some mental .21 truggy engine in a buggy, and it looked like a lot of fun... I mean my RB Fire is probably plenty. Was just wondering what would be even more so. And a stock CB is 14, so I can't imagine a 28 would give the top end I'd want.. Anyway, just brainstorming possibilities for buying a new cheap engine. Needs to be beastly though.. Don't give a c.rap about runtime etc...

You bet I do. Something about the square stroke is just smooth.
But it's just my opinion. I have nothing to prove. Just a guy who likes playing with toys cars. 😁

Interested in the replies. I have only tried a 2135/41021 on the mantra. It runs good but would like some more ideas .
I haven't owned a p5 in quite some time. Been thinking of getting one .

as said above there is 2020 version, cosmo on eBay posted them but I guess they sold out now. Not sure what the differences are on the 2020 version compared to first mantra. Anyone know?

on mantra I’ve heard people like the 2135 L50 combo. I wanna try that out on mine when I break in my mantra.

No problem with that but be aware that what you think is the reason doesn't always have to be the reason so it is wrong to make such statements based on what you think is the truth.

Default P7 owner

I've just got a secondhand novarossi b7. 21 it says beat on the side. Am new to nitro and would love to know if anyone has run this motor or owns one at the moment. It has a 65mm venturi.
Are they reliable good on fuel, hard to tune etc?

That is a Hipex 2095 pipe, a so called low noise pipe. As some say, it is internal like a Hipex 2069 but with an extra shield.

Does it alter performance much? Sure is weird looking with the stinger in the back.. Must make a mess of the wheel I would think - even more than normal...
