I ran my Murnan GT5 today and it is indeed a LOT of motor. It is a great buggy engine.

You can say it is a great buggy engine but you are talking about a Murnan modified which may not be compared with the normal engine although even then I would expect it is a good engine.

ran another 1/2 gallon through the mephisto gt5 in my truggy around the track today. loving it so far didnt get any timed tests as i was learning the track but im rather happy for something I bought for no reason other than i was interested in how it would do.
liked the 2095 low noise on my "full monty" mantra in buggy, but broke my fuel tank driving stupid

Whats the best plug to run in a Bonito? Can a person run a OS p4? Or is it better to stick with the NOV cto 6?

If you can easily buy Novarossi CTO6 I would recommend it for the Nova engines.. I never runned os plugs in my novas, i only run the cto6 and they tune great, last forever and I know they fit perfect..
If you watch closely the os plugs are a little bit different in shape. In my opinion use what was designed to.

IIRC the issue was going back and forth. I.e. if you start with OS maybe it's OK, but then you have to stay with OS plugs. You can't go back and forth or you'll screw up the button... I'd go with a Nova #6 as advised above..

I want to update about pipes..
I was running my virtus.21 with the 9901ss/41032, good power, good mileage, good bottom and top and temps at 284F.
The past weekend I runned the 9886ss which I cerakoted with the 41031 manifold. I tunned with the 9901ss/41032 runned it and swapped it on site with the 9886ss/41031.. The difference was massive.. I also richened tha hsn about 4 hours and had more power with temps at 260F.

I runned those compos and both of the seem close in performance but never back to back with each other.
Performance wise 9886ss/41031 is a bomb, temps are better but mileage is worse than 9901ss/41032 but I don't really care about mileage so I am keeping the 9886ss/41031 for now on on every nova I run..

Default Rolling fuel milage

Recently bought a mito 4 and a rolling . Love the mito 4 but not fast enough. The rolling has the speed but the fuel milage is aweful. Cant even get 6 minutes. Using a 9901 pipe on both. Any suggestions? Is there another motor that has the speed if the rolling but better fuel economy ? Mephisto?

I have 2 rollings. 1 for truggy and one for buggy. 7mm Venturi in truggy and 6.5mm Venturi in buggy with 021 header and 9853 pipe on both. I can go 10min pit stops in a race almost every time. I noticed on the rolling that I was able the lean out the LSN more then some of the other engines I have tuned.

You are definitely really rich on that rolling. I’m running a 7mm Venturi with the 41031 header and an old ofna 053 and still got over 10mins in truggy and believe I can lean out about another hour or two.
