NOVAROSSI Engine thread....
Does anyone know anything about the Novarossi RS 8 crono or the plus 21-8t. I did some searching and didn’t come up with anything on the plus 21-8t and I saw where someone said the crono was a fast engine. I wanted to buy another two engines and found these at decent prices or I may just get a Rolling. They would be going in a truggy and buggy for bashing. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
I have the rolling in truggy and use it to race. Awesome engine and all though it cant be gotten for the price I paid anymore the guy I bought it from on ebay Seller name Cosmopro is still cheapest I've found at about $205 without pipe. You can get amazing power with right pipe combo especially if youre not concerned about fuel mileage like when racing.
Search this thread and put Rolling exhaust pipe and read through a little bit and you'll see many pipe combination suggestions and how performance was. Thats what I did and for racing run 41031 header with 9853 pipe.
For buggy I run Mantra and also has great power. I would also recomend a P5 for buggy especially if just bashing. I know some guys use them in truggy to bash and race and say it can be a beast in buggy again pipe combo can do wonders.
Not sure but hope this all helps some.
This may sound bad but I actually have a brand new in box P5XLT I'm willing to sell if you're interested feel free to pm.

Thanks for the information. I found a little more info on the Crono and seems like a good engine. I haven’t found anything on the plus 21-8t. For the price the guy is selling it for I’m just going to get it . Going to order the rolling also just to have and play with. Thanks again and I’m going to send you a pm.

Hi
I am in the UK and Novarossi glow plugs are becoming hard to find and with strong rumors that Nova are closing for good I guess that supply is not going to suddenly return. I normally run C6TGC glow plugs in my engine.
I have read in several places that you can use OS plugs but, you should not go back to Novas once you have used an OS plug . I would be interested to know what alternative glow plugs anyone is using in their Nova engines
Regards
Mark

I have imported items from the states before. But by the time you pay carriage, import tax and handling fees of up to £25 I will end up paying almost double what I would pay in the UK or Europe.
I did manage to find a website with CTO6's listed, but, I have just had my order cancelled and they stated that it is very unlikely that they will getting anymore.
Again, if anyone out there has any experience of using other branded glow plugs in Novas I would really appreciate the feedback

I spoke with one of the UK Nova distributors yesterday and they are not expecting the factory to re-open, nor are they expecting to receive any of the orders that they have outstanding with them. One of their team drivers lives near the factory and the feedback from him is that the place is closed and the gates are locked.
They also recommended that I could use an OS P3 plug but this would require a re-tune of the motor and I would need to run OS plugs going forward. Again, any feedback on this would be appreciated

I already tried an OS P3 Glow plug an i was not sattisfied. I also retuned the engine but there was never a clean running. I tried a P3, P3 gold and P4. No plug was running clean and a second guy also tried OS glow plugs and was not sattisfied with it.
Maybe someone could tell us how the P3 and Nova engine will running.

I really hope Novarossi opens back up, I want to buy two more 28-8 engines. I literally just ordered a new GShock watch from an Italian vendor at 3am last night and it's being overnighted to arrive tomorrow. I understand this vendor didn't produce the watch but it gives me hope that the Nova factory can get things going again.

I got a Rolling from the same eBay vendor and his shipping was fast. I should get another one before they are all gone. If you read the on road Novarossi thread Someone mentions that Novarossi sold a lot of their machinery and if that’s true I don’t see them ever opening back up.
