9853/41001 will give the best power and RPM.... 2096/41021 will neuter the engines power, probably one of the poorest performing combos you could choose for a .25..........IMO stay far and clear from a 2096/41021 combo on the .25 unless you want it to run more like a .21 then a .25

Yeah I kinda want to give it another go because that pipe had ridiculous low end and midrange in my truggy.
I wonder if using a different venturi would help with the tune? Like I said it seemed like it was either blubbering rich on bottom or too lean and would start surging at idle.
7mm instead of 8mm maybe?

I bought a used btta with this combo and the compression is really low which will die when let it idling. The engine lack power but runtime is excellent. Honestly is the cocompression low or it was design to have less power?

Hey guys, opinions on crankcase caps? Are they really necessary? Can't I keep all dirt out of my engine if everything is run properly and cared for, without one of these caps? If its highly recommended, can I just install the cap and be done or do I HAVE to seal it up with sealant? Seems foreign territory at this point.

Hi everybody.
I'm rebuilding my P5XLT but the local dealer doesn't have the P/S set number 08036 but he does have 08036B. Supposedly this one is CNCed compared to the original one with is casted. What is better? Should I get the B or should I wait for the original to arrive?
