not when I got 4 good pipes sitting here. I guess I could sell them and buy a new 086. With my luck after I sell them, I'll need them - LOL

somebody replaced stock shims with something else for sure


should be two alu. .30mm and one .20mm or two .10mm copper shims

Thanks Monty but it was still sealed in the bag NIB when I got it. I have some stock rossi shims I can use so does it matter which orderr they go in

if it was still nib then it has 2x.30mm aluminum shim and 1x.10mm copper shim , i will guarantee it .

just add 1x.10mm copper shim , you are at .70mm total right now ;)

novarossi .12 ?????
 
hey all.....I got a used crt.5 with a rossi .12 my friend cleaned it up and we got it running ,but we can't get the lsn right way too rich...!!!....then I noticed that the (what I asume is the mid needle)on the back side of the carb is not flush...???...now am I thinking that this needle being out from flush not letting the lsn lean ????...it got better on the low but that was with the lsn bottomed out....!!!!what do we think....???

ok...now to do that ,I pull the hsn out ....then turn it in till flush and line it up to let the hsn back in lined up in the hole....????

no just make it flush with the outer body of the carb and you will be fairly close .

cool I will get on that in the mornin.....thanx a bunch houston......I have never had a rossi but hear nothing but good about them......this one screams on the top....!!!!!! just gotta get her bottom goin......wow ..:weird:..< that came out kinda odd....!!!!

just remember you actually have to tune a novarossi engine , OS engines will run no matter what you do to the carb :D

i see it quite frequently , racers who switch from OS engines try nova engines and they give up because they try to tune (or not tune;)) them like an OS , doesnt work ;)


read the tuning guide or read up on a few posts . :D

please i need help here ,its my friends nova p5s i think, i heard its a old motor ?? anyway whats the base or factory setting .........or race tune if possible ,currently hes using 20% & its for hes 6T truggy, thks

i know on my stock plus4 once i set the needles all i do is fine tune the HSN....and it is good
