Lol, hopefully not like that of else people at the track might be looking at you a little bit funny!

Ok, good news for everyone that has been waiting for B5's, I just received confirmation that I will have a fresh shipment of engines in hand by the end of next week. I would strongly recommend that you get an order in with either A-main or your local hobby shop if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to get a brand new B5 as we will still only be getting limited numbers for the next month or so!

The 2035 will work for you . I ran it with a Werks header and was happy with it. But I went back to the 2013

Looking for some feedback from somone who has used a JP3 pipe with this motor Thanks

Mo Denton 09-17-2009 07:24 PM

I used the jp-3... ran good a little to aggresive on bottom but for sure runable
fuel mileage was around the 8 to 9 range, and held a tune just fine, better than the jp-4 but not as good as the sirio pipes (2056 and2013)

Well, 2nd time out with the b5.... HORRIBLE chassis setup, but now that i have a good engine, the only thing i got to worry 'bout is the chassis. I need lighter clutch setup because all i have is RIP!!! I let a couple of guys drive my rig, and they both said the same two things: It doesn't turn, and HOLY SHIT that thing rips! LOL :lol: Of course, i finally made a chassis change AFTER the mains (huge difference) but believe me, i'd have beaten anybody in a drag race:nod:

temps were 220 ish and runtime was awesome. i'm still using the 2050 pipe, but i'm gonna try the 2013 soon. I probably won't get much track time between now and the arizona state champs, gotta save money for tires (dry track 2 day race) but I'll keep ya posted. I've definitely made some people take notice of the b5 at SRS and once the woniter series rolls around, the guys out at the nitro pit will notice when I'm kicking ass. looking for a new chassis now, as my losi 1.0 is about 3 yrs old:weird: it is TIRED!!!!!

anybody got an 808 they wanna sell me??????????

smittyusmc 09-18-2009 05:49 AM

why done you upgrade to the 2.0 chassis it made a big difference for me my buggy has some much steering that im turning into the pipe.

My B5 is killing plugs. I've tried an OS med, and OD med and after about 15 mins of run time the plugs are dead. Any suggestions?

Davidka 09-19-2009 07:43 AM

Check your rod bushing/crank pin slop. If you're engine has a loose fit there it'll eat plugs quickly.

xxxrcnitro 09-19-2009 11:06 AM

No way your rod bushings are wore maybe they are if you ran too lean? Check your plug if it's distorted (filament) too lean. If not then your too rich meaning your fouling plugs I go through atlest three like this during break in.
