THANKS RON FOR A GREAT ENGINE.
HAD A B7PRO BEFORE AND LIKED THAT ALOT TO. THE MORE FUEL I PUT THROUGH THE B5 I THINK I LIKE IT BETTER THAN THE B7. I HAVE THE 2056 OR FAT BOY PIPE ON IT AND RUN TIME IS GREAT. LAST 30 MIN A MAIN I ONLY PIT TWICE.CAME IN WHEN I HEARD HIM ANOUNCE 10 MARK AND AGAIN AT 20 MIN.AT END OF RACE WAS A FULL 2 LAPS AHEAD. A FRIEND JUST PAID ALOT MORE FOR A NINJA AND I LIKE THE B5 MUCH MORE. I DO HAVE A 2013 AND A 2057 PIPES LAYING AROUND,IF SOMEONE HAS TRIED THESE PIPES WOULD REALLY LIKE RUNTIME FEEDBACK THANKS. |

or maybe Ron remembers and will post when he gets online... And I finally got a decent pipe for mine this weekend... And Mo and I did a side by side test of the 2013 and bambams bat (fatboy pipe) and the 2013 is a ton louder... i loved it...lol  -DC- |
BigNasty, thanks for the additional info on run times and the Axe pipe!
Speed Bump, I would think that we should have another shipment some time next week. I can tell you that dealers are taking quite a few back orders on these so if you are interested in getting one, please get an order in with the dealer. Team_Orange, thanks for the feedback and run time info! Just curious have you compared performance on the B5 with the JP4 against any other pipes? Was just asking as everyone that I have spoken to before in the past have said the that the JP4 seems to kill performance on engines (but I do not think that I have spoken to anyone that has ran it on the B5 before you). Never the less you were definitely getting some really good run time with it! 1fastguy1, are you saying DC's a gas hog that drives punched lol? Regarding the 2056 versus the 2013 performance there is truth to what you are saying. The 2013 is going to give a lot more aggressive bottom than the 2056. I talked to Kortz over the weekend who just did a quick run with the 2056 and he felt that it softened the bottom a lot which is not necessarily a bad thing! He felt that for his driving style it made the engine feel smoother making it easier to drive out of corners without excessive wheel spin which should also help with run time. More testing is going to be done but the initial feedback on it was positive and it does jibe with your feeling also. Again though this has a lot to do with driving styles also so it's more of a personal preference type of thing lol. Also got your pm, good news! fordstang50, thank you for continuing to use out products! I'm glad that you like the B5 motor and it sounds like the combo that you are using with the 2056 is providing some really good run time! There is q pretty dramatic shift in power band with the 2013 versus the 2056. It's going to feel a lot snappier! As far as run time is concerned we are going to have to do some more testing before I can firmly say what the difference in but at the least I would say it's at least 30 seconds more with the 2056 and probably more than that. Kortz also has the 2057 which he will be testing shortly and I will pass on his opinion on it as soon as he has run it. In the interim if you run your pipes please pass on your feedback for all of the people here. The more info that we get together from different people the more help this thread is to everyone! toofles, no problem at all. If you want to read the actual post it's back a ways but in a nutshell it will work fine. As I believe everyone that has run one of these motors can attest to the B5 is not lacking on torque so no problem at all pushing a truggy around! smitty2802, lol there is a huge difference in the sound from those pipes isn't there lol! LOL yeah it's a huge difference... I just liked listening to it run...
I will def need another pipe though (2056) I think you know the reason why after listeningto Mo...lol  Fuel milage wasn't as good with the 2013 as the RE-11, but was alot faster... -DC- |

Set the HS so that you see around 200 degree's and then just run another 8 or so tanks through it rolling off on the straight. After this you should be able to go to race tune and start pushing the motor. Hope this helps!

Left or Counterclockwise to richen decrease temps.
Ron i really never worried about run times before until a fellow racer bought a Plus 4 and others have v-specs and they usually beat me in the mains because of run time. So since then i started worrying about it lol. Hence i bought the b5 instead of the plus 4 i dont like to follow everybodys move i like to win being the odd ball at the track. I am the only racer with a jammin x2 within the 3 tracks i run on everybody else jumped the mugen train. Thinking about the hyper 9 for indoor season. But back to the topic the jp4 is a efra 2062 so im gonna say it is kind of like a os 2060 maybe? It really softened up the bottom perfect for my driving style and gave me better run time than a jp3 or sts pipe. Temps at the end of 20min main were 253. |
who makes the 2057?? I am curious on this one, all the talk about pipes and this pipe has come up in a number of occassions... I want to try one

Yes the 2057's I've seen had the Sirio name on them and where a normal looking. They are suppose to be a bit tamer than the 2013 and have better run time.
