at motorama, i raced with the B5/2013 setup and have to say that it is a perfect all around setup........gave me 9+ mins of run time in my 8T-2.0 on byrons 30% race.......unfortunately, i was taken out in the main(broken rear hub).......either way, i(as well as mike b. and marshon had great results with the B5..........and that's why i have a new(2010) in the box as a 'spare"..

Ron, do you know when amain will have the 2057 pipe?

Kingsbury 02-22-2010 04:43 PM

I ran the new 2013 in truggy and 2057 in buggy this past weekend at the Florida State Series race in Daytona with great results.

Qualified 3rd in pro truggy and 5th in pro buggy. Zero flameouts all weekend Fri-Sun and they ran flawless during the 30 minute A mains.

The engine/pipe combo gave me 9+ minutes per tank and I have a heavy trigger.

I am going on 4 gallons with both engines, they both still have great compression and the power keeps getting better it seems. These are also
one of the first B5's that have the older style carb, and not to mention the SAME plug!

I highly recommend the B5 and the new Werks tuned pipes.

Thanks I sent them over an e-mail. I know that they are there and we were working on the description around the end of last week so I'm hoping it will be any day. I'll let you know as soon as I get a responce back.

thanks

I'll go ahead and throw my positive review in, not that another one is really needed as all reviews seem to be positive.

Almost 2 gallons in, pushing a Losi 2.0T truggy, great motor. Plenty of juice even with the "wrong" pipe. (053 for now)

Nice to buy something at a reasonable price that performs as promised. You don't see that much anymore.

Thanks Aray, when I started working on the B5 project my intention was to give people a high quality, high performance Italian racing mill at a reasonably price, in a nutshell something that I would feel happy with the current economic situation spending my own hard earned money on. It's comments like yours which make me feel that I have accomplished that goal, thank you.

Regards,

Ron
