Yeah, I'll be there this Sunday. I'll see you there. Thanks Jeff.

Sirio Australia have recieved some new cranks that have more meat at the critical stress point, the metal is also stronger. Hole is same a little timing is sacrificed.
On the track the engine is ballistick, have not noticed any performance difference. 3 litres of testing and engine running strong.
The latest engines fom Sirio should have these cranks.

Still no problem so far. I'm beginning to think it might have to do with the break-in process people are using. Or am I just the lucky few.

Anyway, it's all torn apart now, checked tolerance with nothing out of ordinary, last club race coming up so I'm just strapping in a JP instead.

It's ironic that I'm quoting myself now....

Well, broke the crank today, 5 mins into the Main.....

So what's the word on sending it to Trinity? Sure they know there is a problem with the crank!

Not sure if I can help....

But you have to describe how it die off... at slowing down or at high speed? would it die off if the truck is off the ground?

sniper_rc id say that you should check that you tighten the glowplug properly and check for any air leaks on the engine if you havent done that already.

The early cranks there were some failures but the latest ones are flawless.
The EVO 3s are awsome holding their tune and pulling crazy power.
I just finished running the SIRIO EVO 3 at the Aussie nationals and the engine is at least as quick if not quicker than the quickest and latest around.
Infact I was in the same qualifiers as the winner (LRP) and was backing off at the end of the straight as courtesy to him so as i would not clean him up.
And balls out of the corner, lots of them.
Any busted cranks should be replaced by your Sirio supplier but I can guarntee that the new engines are bullet proof.
Cheers

I have not heard anything from Trinity regarding this. We are pretty much being ignored.
