Thanks Joel J, for clearing that up I am shore the new sirio engines will be extreamly good i know fom the s21wcr and s21pr pro evo2 sti that the extra 0.3mm stroke made the pr pro very strong down low and in my running of it i don't think it ever stoped pulling I can not wait for them. Can you make a post when they are relised to distrubters. Best Regards Jeremy.

R/C Car Magazine will have a review next month of the Kanai EVO III off road engine that we and Sirio are very proud of. The EVO III has different port and induction timing than the EVO II and it runs very strong. Check out the review when it comes out. Sirio will also be releasing a long stroke Off-Road and On-Road engine (CL7 line) in the spring. No test results on these yet, but the longer stroke will yeild more torque which is what some racers have been asking for from Sirio for a long time.

We should start seeing the new EVO III engines the first week in Feb and the CL7 should be released in April some time.

Any body here using the STI 5 port version? Hows the performance compare to the 3 ports? can I use 25% nitro on this engine ? coz my 3 ports Sti somehow perform best when I use 16% nitro.

There are two versions of the VR12 Plus pipe. One of which is labeled "Legal Stinger".

Rainer, I think what Zoom means is that eventhough it might have a legal stinger, Skyline pipes are no homologated either by EFRA or IFMAR...they don't have an homologation number printed on them...like for example Novarossi's EFRA 2630. I will send you a private mail regarding this issue.

these alter the size of the carby. if you go larger then you have to richen the motor to compensate otherwise your engine will be too lean. this also means runtime will decrease.

i believe that the smaller diameter insert gives you more bottom and less top and the larger gives more top and less bottom

my guess would be the bigger the hole the more power you will have all around ( bottom and top end)
try changing the inserts at your local track and see what the difference is. if you don't like it you could always put the original insert back in, no harm done

Hi Guys, I'm shore stock for the pr pro is 8mm maby 8.5mm ristrictor the smaller you go the better fuel economy you will get but you will suffer at the high end of paformance and it should give a tiny bit more bottomend torque and the bigger you go 9mm you will lose fuel eco but gain more high end paformance. Also check out www.kyoshoamerica.com for pic's of the new soon to be relised K3 engine there are pic's and a litle right up about it. it looks difrent to the first 2 versions. Regards Jeremy.

How do we set the Centax for the Sirio PR Pro.
Some guys said that the inside gap must be 0.5mm and the outside gap(thrust) must be 0.1mm.

But the manual sais that the outside gap must be 0.5mm.

I am confused.

The centax setup is the same for the 1/10 and 1/8 ?

Can you help he to learn how to properly tune my centax?

Regards,

Nick
