Will the crankshaft be replaced free of charge due to manufacture defects?

Do you mean the TRP PRO? The EVO 2 TUP replaces the TRP PRO (black head).

The engine i have is a s12 tup pro 5 port (blue head). I checked the sirio web site & can only find the s12 tup not the pro version , i was just wondering what the diffrence is between the 2 & if there have been many drama's with these engines. Thanks for the josh cyrul info , its completly different to what i have been shown i'll give it a go, but i'm only new to this nitro scene & loving it!!!

Default Looking for a Rotary carb for my Evo2

Can anyone tell me the ID of the carb intake is .. and what carbs will fit it... ???

Will the new carb on the OS .12 TZ fit it?

OR does anyone NEED a slide carb and wants to get rid of their rotary carb?

Default cranckshaft part number S12 WCR

Can anyone confirm the partnumber for the cranckshaft for the Sirio S12 WCR.

On the leaflet in the sirio box it is this:
S12 EVO 2 I SG CRANCKSHAFT "RACING" with number S12 081301.
But this number on some webshops is for the S21 WCR? So something is wrong here.

An email from Sirio said the EVO2 and WCR cranckshafts are interchangeble. So whats the number of the evo2 cranck?
S12 081300: named as "S12 EVO 2 I SG cranckshaft racing"

So what number is correct?

Default Crankshaft Replacement

My Evo 3 went back to Trinity 2months ago with a broken crank. I'm still waiting to get it back. I ran a total of about 10 tanks through this motor before the crank broke at the intake tunnel. 6 of those tanks were on a break-in stand and four on the track. Let me see $230.00 divided by 4 is about $57.50 per run on the track. Man that was a great buy!!!!! I don't care how fast this motor was supposed to be, but with this crappy kind of service I will never ever ever buy another Sirio product. The absolute ignorance of these people not responding to my problem is just plain rude.

I love my new modified OS TZ. Motorman did one of them for me. It rips.... and it rips at the top end too. Hey for around $75.00 at Tower I can replace the entire internals too. That means Crankshaft, piston & sleeve and connecting rod. And OS has a great service. There getting my money.

I was real worry about the crank breaking as people has said... I got mine, broke it in (heat cycles), ran a club race, ran an entire regional, then ran another race at a permanent facility where it's designed really for 1/5th and 1/8th... Still no problem so far. I'm beginning to think it might have to do with the break-in process people are using. Or am I just the lucky few.

Anyway, it's all torn apart now, checked tolerance with nothing out of ordinary, last club race coming up so I'm just strapping in a JP instead.

Gordan, if your crankshaft is okay you don't need to replace it. You MAY need to replace the conrod. You can get a conrod from tower hobbies or trinity online (shopatron).

If you are coming this Sunday bring your motor and we can take a look.
