What's a better fit for truggy? The fusion x7fm or x5lfm?

I run the X5lightning with a filled crank and the pipe set Monty recommended for you. Pretty awesome truggy motor. Lots of grunt off the bottom but it's still a really smooth pull into the midrange . No harsh hits as it pulls to the top, just electric like smooth with a ton of grunt.

I'm thinking that's the route I'll go but with the full monty on it. Pretty pumped to be able to run nitro again next season

I got the chance to drive JSK's truggy with the X5 lightning(breakin period) because I was considering one and it was good. After switching to the pipe setup on my X7 in my strr evo, I will be sticking to the X7 because I love the power difference in truggy. Both awesome motors, I think the X5 will last a little longer before repinch since both my X7 are at 6 gallons, and close to a repinch and my X5 race in buggy has over 5 gallons and has awesome pinch like my X3 lightning had and I had to have it pinched right at 10 gallons.

So if you like power X7 and X5 if you like smooth. Monty has been running X5 lightning lately and looks real fast and smooth but that's not me, in truggy anyway.
