Quick question. Does it matter if you do or don't run a washer in front of the front bearing before the flywheel collet goes on? The reason I ask is because I am using a washer but it has made my flywheel move forward and know I need to use an extension lipped washer on the clutch bell to get the right free play and it is close to my tank.

Hope this makes sense

What clutch system?

i wouldn't have thought it mattered but its a jvd.

Almost every single clutch systems flywheel fits very different , so yes it matters

Jvd u shuldn't need any spacers behind collet at all

Rule of thumb , shim only if necessary and use least amount of shims possible to just barely space backside of flywheel away from rubbing on engine block

Hope this helps

For future reference many racers will shave the back side of the supplied brass collet on that clutch

Hey Monty, what pipe would you recommend for 28-7 in a buggy based car on a large dirt oval?

Most guys just run the 9886/41019 in gt/oval cars but imo 41021 header is much better

Monti, so you have any experience with the thunder tiger/associated 2035 pipe? How would you characterize it compared to novarossi pipes?

i have a few guys that absolutely love the 2035 pipe , i always thought it was a lil flat on top but had really good low and strong mid

its not a bad setup on the x3 lightning at all
ask manufacturercup here on rctech what he thinks
