I can deal with shipping overseas, but any additional costs/fees will have to be discussed.

There is only one color. Gray. That's the color that happens with TypeIII hard anodizing on aluminum. It will not change colors with age because there is no color dye involved.

Bent header.

Houston I have a problem. Sorry if this has been asked before but there are too many posts with the words "bent" and "header" to find one on point.

Anyhow, I have a ae header for a 2035 pipe. Somehow it got squeezed and now the pipe cannot seat on the header. I want to spread it back open to where the fittings are back to parallel. Any info on how to without making it worse would be appreciated.

ive straightened headers out by sticking a glow plug wrench in each orifice and prying whichever way , works good

or are you saying the end got squished?

The end is not squished. That sounds simple enough. Thanks.

That two seconds and worked perfect. If anything you just have to be careful not to spread it too far.

Houston,
I have a keep off 4 with ~2 gallons. It has a very inconsistant idle and will often not come back down to idle after being on throttle. Like when in air following a jump it revs with no throttle input. If on box warmed up if i rev it it wil often rev itself higher after i release throttle. I have air sealed back plate, carb, neddles. I have not changed front bearing. Any thoughts?

Do u use a throttle return spring or rubberband ?

dan_vector 05-10-2014 08:55 AM

Definitely sounds like an air leak to me. I'd check my carb all over again to ensure no leaks (especially the bellows) and then change the front bearing.

Definitely have a throttle return on carb itself , sounds to me like a fuel feed issue , bad lid on tank , cracked tank , hole in fuel line or something like this

I doubt its front bearing but slim possibility it is

Im guessing leak in fuel delivery

I use a spring, but it will rev with throttle body closed.
