Dave,

Great Job to you and Casey. It was fun watching both of you progress this year. Cade and I are very proud of both of you. Its hard enough to race these toy cars, our jobs as dads/mechanics can be tougher haha. Its all worth at the end though.

Jon

hoping I can get some help here, have tried a couple other places and cant get any response. I just bought a RB v-15 blast and need to know if I need to remove any head shims because of altitude. I live in Colorado at just over five thousand feet, I use VP 30% nitro fuel, And it is in a Losi buggy. Thanks

I would help you but I do not know the specs of a v15

I highly suggest using 40% fuel at your altitude though

Monty are you ever gonna switch to the smaller head? Everyone who looks at my car compares it to their smaller head. I laugh and say what is on the inside matters then spank em on the track. But... it might help by giving it a more modern look.

The peopl that are laughing at your engine obviously do not care/know how much more beneficial it is to have the larger cooling head. So let's laugh at them for a moment...hahahaha hahahaha.:D

Seriously though, I am not a fan of the lower cooling heads, they simply do not work as well but no scratches on the head would be the only plus. As the old saying goes, Function over form.

Monty, you and your dad should pack a guitar for tent city. ... nitro jam! See you soon
