I was talking to Monty, and I believe it has more power bottom and top and the same or slightly more mileage!

yep

i am loving the 2096ss pipe

buggy and truggy

dont really like the 9901ss on the truck as much but the 2096ss works phenomenal and gets great mileage , albe it is the most expensive pipe of the bunch

although the X7 with 9901ss/41021 or 41020 works awesome in the truck

interesting

os engines are great , can not really give you a comparison as i personally deal with novarossi based engines exclusively

I can answer having recently switched from OS to Novarossi.

The vzb vspec had more top end speed than the new XZ-B Speed. The newer engine has a different powerband, is a bit smoother, and gets slightly better fuel economy. Even with that said, I was not overly impressed with the new Speed due to a few quality control issues with my personal engine. Also the newer engine tunes differently due to different low and mid needles than the vzb carb. Others like em...so to each his own I guess.

Now if Monty would tune an XZ-B Speed...

Monty, I need to new bearings for my FMS can you direct me to the right part numbers please? I will snag them from your site once I get the part numbers from you.

One other thing. I tried running the Bonito without the Brass shim in it this weekend and it ran really nice. I was pulling on OS.28's down the straight. I did however run into an issue in my main. The truck flamed out for no apparent reason. What do you think may have happend? Do you think the plug could be on its way out maybe?

Thx
Nick

Default hey

I finally broke down and ran the 9901 on the plus-4 in a durango. the pipe worked really good. thanks for the tip, even though it took like 100 times of telling me....

and the FMS is a wild man...I ran it with a 9853 and OFNA bent header. It was freakin screaming loud and soo fast it was awesome. It pulled all the way down the strait....and had plenty of torque...It was in the xray....

I'm so happy with every engine I have. from the Houston tuned "pimped" p5, to the x7 extremely ballistic Houston tuned....to the FMS and the plus 4....

I cant ever decide what engine to run.....

Novarossi, Fusion X, and Monty, what else is there.....
