planning on running both flywheels on my truggy at motorama just to try out which one feels better and for run times also... maybe running the plus 4 at that event.. not enough time on the FMS to try it there on an indoor track in the dead of winter.. i'll only be running truggy and maybe pull out the revo at this event
those were my thoughts on clutch setup , very similar to what the boys run in the losi camp which that clutch setup is dialed so..............

Good call on the FMS , it is probably still pretty darn tight huh? How much fuel did u get through it ?

round buttplate = more low end torque with a lil loss in top end , just a little

Hi Monty,

Should there be any crankshaft end play on a plus4 with no flywheel? If so, as you tighten the flywheel down should most of it go away?

yes and yes , if the crank moves in and out easily that is a good sign , means the bearings in the block are aligned good

Hey monty. Got a Q for ya. On the rear bearing. Does the plastic retainer go towards the carb or towards the back plate. And when I sinch down the clutch nut the rotation feels gritty. I havetried different collets and put a washer behind the collet, nothing resolves it. The p5xlt has about 1.25 gal. Through it

replace both bearings if it feels gritty

and as for the orientation of the rear bearing... when you look at the bearing from the back plate... you should see the balls should be exposed... so the retainer should face the carb...
