Oh yea, which insert is best for all around use? and what conditions would call for an insert change from the "all around choice"

DYN 086 pipe

Thanks again LOL

MONTY MONTY P5xlt was a beast but for some reason it does not like to run above 205 which isnt a bad thing because its halls the mail! sounds like a indy car on the revS! sweeeeetttt.. finally got it tune in wow is all i got to say! But one question for you and your engine tuning! Just quick ref should the top needle be in from flush just a tad bit? and the bottom right around flush? Also when i run the motor and come off the top end the motor revs up just a split second and hit low idle what do you think that would be? Im guessin air leak..

sweeet , thanks for the update !!!

if it doesnt want to run above those temps then that means it is a very efficient engine ,( runtimes? ) is it still pretty fresh? (under a gallon?)

does the engine sound like it is starving for fuel if you lean it out anymore ?

your low speed needle and idle setting is out of whack , usually too lean low speed

around flush and flush are close but more precise counting the needles

there is no magic needle settings but use the referenced needle settings in the threads if you are really struggling , many variables in carb adjustments , pipes , plugs , fuels , different cars have different tank pressures and so on so keep all this in mind

yeah right at 3/4 gallon.. Hmm i moved the idle adjustment in half turn on brake in. But ive since moved it back and the low speed is about 1 turn maybe little more from out of the box. I richen it up and motor still did same thing. I did a pinch test and it was 3 second before rev up seem to run really really good there. but still just had that coming off high load to low rev and back down.

come on over and we will get it dialed in

imo the engine is still in break in stages or at least should be at only 3/4 of a gallon i wouldnt expect any miracles out of the engine for a while , wait until it drops its nuts

note: all my smileys actually have meanings

you be the man idle gap got it fixed! she is at a low idle purin like a kitty! o i know i figure gallon half and this will be bad to the bone! i can still hear the motor changing sounds little at a time with the pinch starting to come out of it should be a really good motor. Like i said before this motor broke in really well and idle like a top and no trouble last time i had a motor do this it was ballistic and great motor... nova motors got to love these bad boys. I think i actually like the p5xlt better then plus4 and run time are right at 10mins and only 3/4 gallon yeah its going to be the bomb. i might call you tomorrow about 6 go over some tuning stuff.. thanks monty
