I just ran truggy in the yard to see if the alumium shoes helped the low end performance. It seems to have help,I'll know for sure when I get to the track.I also got some 1.2 ofna springs, but couldn't get them on after about 2 hours of fighting with them.So still running 1.0 springs.I also leaned the bottom,it was doing the 2 stage idle like in the video someone just put up.Looks like the s7 can move a truggy pretty good.

The X10 seems to work great on the 2045 and the new 2087. It felt like I got a little better top end with the 2045, but not much. The improved torque and fuel mileage of the 2087 makes up for the minor loss of top speed. |
Hey,
just received my new F11 with 2087 Tuned Pipe w/192mm Manifold. I see that it comes with only the 9mm venturi. Does anyone know how much runtime we can get out it and i was thinking maybe going down to an 8mm in a truggy to get over the 10 minutes mark at least. Anyone has an idea? thx :) |

Nah,
thats what i tought but no. I still have some left over from my shark 9 combo that is sittin`in my rc8b as we speak. Super smooth engine by the way and really fuel efficient :D I am hoping that the F11 will pull my 8T 2.0 really hard  |

Really? I ran just over a gallon on the Shark 9 and dont see a lot of bite on the bottom end so not too sure for a truggy. I am running it with a 6.5 venturi to get some runtime out of it with 92mm and 2045 pipe. As we speak i am running a plus 4 team with 7mm venturi in my truggy and dont think its enough either. engine is too smooth i guess???

The F11 is actually more of a truggy engine. This engine is a 7 port but it has a very aggressive crank in it and will run almost identical to the Rally engine. I tried to run the Rally in buggy last year and it was just too much power out of the corners and I was always breaking traction. It was fun to drive but actually hurt laptimes in my buggy. It's not gona hurt to try it in both vehicles at all, everyones driving style is different so you might love it in buggy.
