Jared, the S series engines were never really economical in terms of fuel usage. I know in my buggy with any of the S engines that I would get about 6-7 minutes of run time. As far as low end punch, you are on the right track. When I ran my S-7 (standard) and all of my WS-7 engines I would run mugen carbon shoes and 1.1 springs so as to get the most low end possible. The problem is it makes it hard to finesse the throttle coming off of a jump or corner as the engine will spool up pretty high and bite hard.

I must say I like the Rb motors. I currently run 2 different RB motors. The Killer 10, a WS7, just bought a C5, and Buying another WS7. They have good power and easy tuning. Congrats Jim on your new venture. I will definitely be in contact with you for parts, When I need them(hopefully not soon:lol:).

:) I have 2 WS7s left each with about a gallon on them. I currently am running a Shark 10.. OMG that thing is just nuts!!!!!

Since I got the RB bug with my first s-7 I have never bought anything different. I have watched other engines at the tracks and nothing compares to the sound and punch of an RB especially when running an RB pipe. I still wish I had my original 063 pipe that thing was /drool in terms of exhaust note and low end grunt.

Running the 2045 that came with the shark 10. Probably going to put the short stinger 2020 on though but I have not decided yet.

I can deal with the runtime, we run 12 min. mains.Glad ya'll have put me on the right track with the shoes and springs.If that isn't enough I'll try a different pipe.

Hey guys anyone has some experience with the 11RS as we are having issues to tune this engine and it seems that its really effected by weather temp.

I have a new in box 63 pipe and header set if you are interested.

RBEAMJ, are you wanting more bottom out of the Shark engine? If so, go with the 198 or even the 204 header, also, Changs your clutch springs to 1.0, the 1.1 springs take away bottom. If you go with the 2020 pipe, that will give you more bottom too, maybe to much, and no top, the 063 is big bottom also, but for what you have, the 2045 is your best bet for fuel mileage, over the other pipes you have, I would suggest a 198 header, change the clutch springs to 1.0, maybe 2 car on and 1 aluminum shoe. It will give you good snap.

Aznitronut. I got a WS7II that I would use the 063 pipe on. I just love the way the original single chamber, thin walled, pipes sounded on those engines!!!

I love the shark and it is brutal as it is now with the new 2045 pipe on it. I have an older 2045 pipe and a 2020 pipe lying around. The older 2045 pipe is longer and thicker than the new one and burned up my body when I used it with my WS7III (yes that is a different engine as I have a ws7II and ws7III).

I got an old heavy hyper7 pcr pro edition that I am wanting to get running again so my kid can bash around and the 063 single chamber pipe would be great with my WS7II to put into that beast along with the mugen black clutch shoes and 1.1 springs that I have for that engine :)~

On my shark, running in my JQ products THE car, I have the ascendency clutch with 4 carbon shoes and the .9 springs. Makes the low end very controllable with that light of a buggy.

The X11 works very good in the JQ car too. It does not have quite the top end of the B11 or Shark but I never noticed people flying by me on the straight either.

I have a RB hobby 9,I'm current running with standard cold glow plugs from RB.However I was thinking in using cold glow plugs from Novarossi.Will it work?

Vai ser melhor usando vela da RB direto. Isto não significa q os da Novarossi sejam ruim mais os da RB foram feitos para este motor.
