I have been running RB Mods Go's for the past two seasons with great results. I have a 21 5port, 7 port and 25 6 port that I run in a Losi L8 for dirt oval racing. Really can't think of any issues other than the seriously tight pinch at break-in. Just keep up with you normal maintenance and they will last for ever. I replaced the con-rod and bearings (ceramic) on all three at the two gallon mark and have well over 5 gallons on these beasts. Alot of the folks that I race with thought I was crazy for switching from NovaRossi but I could not be happier. Best bang for the dollar plus you will always have more power that you really need. Rick at RB Mods has the best customer service anywhere.

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give an update. The factory tells me that my initial shipment will ship on or around the 12th. I would expect delivery to be approximately a week later. Dealer shipments will go out shortly after that. Speaking of dealers, any of you dealers that havent finalized orders or even contacted me yet... you have a couple of days to ensure that your order is included. I am ordering a decent number of engines and parts on top of what's been requested, but I have a strong feeling that these will go fast. I plan to be placing regular orders with the factory. For now, inventory is going to be limited to GX .21s, .25 turbo, .28 turbo, and related parts.

Web site: I've got a team of programmers working on this over the weekend. I'm planning to have a Go-tech forum there, where both partial and fully sponsored team members will be providing tech tips, advice, etc. I also plan to use it (and other forums like this) to facilitate communication between myself, drivers, the factory, and customers like yourselves.

Great things in store for the remainder of this season and for 2010!!!!

HE...LLS YEYEA!!! I will be ordering an "Insanely" Clocked
GX7port from you soon Neil (Maximo). I think we should
try and do the "Insane" mod to a .25 and .28 also. Should
end up with some real stump pullers that have screamin top
ends. He!He!He! ;)

We will find out how stout the internals are really quickly ! so far all the 7 ports I have done are holding fast so things look promising ! Making them insanely fast is no longer the question, making the internals hold is the real challenge !

I am experimenting with a titanium wrist pin this week. Got it all assembled and ready to try it next week. I am using titanium because it's light but my main goal was to make a wrist pin with just a little tighter fit after a motor has a few gallons on it. I'll keep you posted.

Sweet !

How hard would it be to make a more durable connecting rod for some engines ?

Don't forget that you owe a few piston pins
to your buddy down in Va.. Ha!Ha! Ha!
Also, if you could make replacement con rods
for the GRP and older style Ninja engines, you
would have alot of money flying your way FAST!!!
Alot of people are waiting for someone to step up
and help to get there GRP based engines going again.
Even if you could come up with a way to re- bush the
old rods, I would try one out.

I like the motors alot!! The price is hard to beat! My first go tech was a 3 pt r spec , it last 6 gallions then the rod broke, new p.r.s and now new again! The rod that broke was the stock rod, I was tring to get 1 more race out of it. And broke 15 mins befor the start of the race.
