hey guys i bought a guy out and i found 4 v spec motor carbs, cant i put one on a gotech motor??
|
Yes, the V-Spec carbs will work. I would pull the
carb apart to make sure it was clean and replace all of the o-rings. Make sure that the insulator sleeve on the carb neck was tight and doesn't have any cracks in it. You may want to slightly bevel the sharp edge off of the bottom of insulator sleeve, so it doesn't cut the o-ring thats down in the crankcase. |

Yeah, the new GX motors look the part eh Rex. You will find break-in a breeze.
It will be loosening up and feeling like it's ready to get up and go at around the 10 tank mark. From what we have seen with the first batch we got here, performance is up a little on the Pro Series motors. The 5 Port in truggy is a killer combo as usual. The GX and MG66 motors like the 2072 pipe a lot, so if you got 2072 pipes with the motors, give them a go for sure. Rex |
Hey guys, I have the new GX-3,GX-5 & a GX-5 w/2072 pipe combo in stock. The web site is still in progress and was planned as being usable yesterday. I also have the new Go Plugs in stock as well.
Check in on the web site soon: www.tntprohobbies.com I've been involved with Go for over 2 years and recently became a dealer. As a matter of fact, my very first Go Engine was the 5-port that I bought for the Losi invitational in Tampa about 3 years ago. It just recently got destroyed a couple weeks ago at the S.I.C. No fault of the engine, just very hard landings:nod: New case and that bad boy will be up and runnin' again!:tire: Feel free to contact me if you have any questions |
Where did you get the Gx engines??
Rex |
I paid BIG TIME to have the order special shipped for the S.I.C. race. I wanted to debut them there and response was unbelievable. I had them up at the announcing stand for everyone to see. People were tracking me down to find out more about them.:D

Trey,
when do you expect your shipment to arrive? |
Hi All
We have finalised all the details for the MG66 into the USA . If you could please refer any interest for the engine to Trey or Rex for sales, the first shipment will be a small one so you may miss out if you dordle . The RRP for the engine is $299 USD ( what the retailers sell it for is up to them) it includes spare rod , rear bearing and carb restrictor kit. Reviews are plenty so if you need further info you can find it here or on the Go Engine Australia thread. PLEASE ! remember if you have any enquiries about the running of the engine or its specs please make ME your first port of call. Also any US distributors do the same before answering questions about the engine. What we are trying to do is eliminate misinformation so people have a better time with the product ! you can contact me on [email protected] Just some breaking news I am re designing the HSN Needle for the carb to give it a broader sweep for finer tuning, Ie a 1/2 hour increment will be broadened to 2 hour. This will bring the carb a little closer to traditional tuning, im sure a lot of people will enjoy that  . However it is still important to use the LSN first. This goes with any engine really . Cheers and happy racing MM :batman: |
thank u
thank u grizz1 for the pm i needed it, i belive in the gotech line of motors, in my stable i have 1. 3 port sport mod by rb mods. 2. 3 port r spec. 2. 5 port.
tell me about the 3 port carb, is it different from the 3 pt r spec,5 pt carb??? because i thought that it would be a hogleg of a motor, but at half track it hits a wall an stops pulling. in the infield it was great. smooth, powerful, but the straight away sucked. |

I had them dropshipped from taiwan. Troy paid express shipping... We were trying to get them delivered in time for the SIC race. With everyone breaking all kinds of stuff, I'm kinda glad that we didn't make it in time. Haha.

Yea, they look great. But I'm going to concentrate
on getting the parts I need to start freshening up the GO engines I already own. Only then, will I add some new GO engines to my arsonal. |
Grab a couple of the new GX cooling heads for the reconditioned motors. They are really sharp looking. The more "new" motors on the track, the better it looks for the new distributors trying to get the GO name out there (as long as they perform well - but I know yours will )
