If you have the long needle and you are getting lean bog and high temps, it's a sure bet you have leaned the HSN too much, and this is causing the lean bog. Have a look down the throat of the carb when you have the slide at full throttle. If the needle has a thickish rounded end and is out of the spray bar completely, you have a short needle. If the needle is a long tapered one and the tip is still sitting in the spray bar at full throttle, you have a long needle. Let us know which one you have and then we can give you the appropriate advice - hopefully !! :D |

Rex It will be loosening up and feeling like it's ready to get up and go at around the 10 tank mark. From what we have seen with the first batch we got here, performance is up a little on the Pro Series motors. The 5 Port in truggy is a killer combo as usual. The GX and MG66 motors like the 2072 pipe a lot, so if you got 2072 pipes with the motors, give them a go for sure. |
i have been testing the the the OS speed 2060 pipe on my mg66 and moded 7 port , i like it alot ..... i will know after our next race meet when i will be racing against others , my 2072 for some reason the spring has pulled through which im not to chuffed about i will be repairing it for sure :D

There was a batch os pipes that had slightly too soft material + the original springs were a tad too short. I repaired mine by drilling new holes and installed longer Hobbytech springs and it's been all golden since

Depends if you have long or short low speed needle fitted, as they differ in tuning method a little.
