You got enough motors Matt - you don't need any more :p

If your getting one for nothing give the JP pipe a try, but I wouldn't buy one for a GO. Like Pato said, they don't combine well with the GO engines. Buy a GO 2072 and stand back :sneaky:

which one is better ebmods ebm5 fully modified or massivemods MM5 5port?

mattwoodcraft 06-24-2009 06:25 AM

i wouldnt get a jp pipe myself for these engines only Go pipes for my self :) but after seeing a 7 port go he was using a jp 4 pipe with good run time and power

Shipping the 2 of them in the us via priority mail would be about 7-8 bucks so any offer over that i will consider, the "new" one doesnt even have any scratches on the head and the glow plug is still good.

they are the blue head b21's

those are I do believe are sport motors, paper weights now. But you could take the cylinder con rod and piston out of the one with the bad carb and put it in the one that needs a pinch. Easy to do and you would have a running engine.

mattwoodcraft 06-24-2009 07:48 AM

one you could just make a key ring out of the piston rod

Well guys, from what we have gleaned out of a few people, it would be a fairly safe bet that these GX motors are the new Gen 6 version ?? Improved cooling head, Gen 5.5 carb (maybe improved some more - maybe a short LSN needle), Ti Ni coated 5.5 crank and wrist pin, perhaps an improved and modified rod ? - not sure.

That should keep everyone in suspense for a while until we find out more :D

Thanks Grizz, who's starting a backorder list pm me and ill pay now LOL and ill be patient i have a new 3ptR to hold me over .....

Massive Modds?Racefactor? anyone taking backorders.....damn i cant wait

I have a gen 4 5port ebmodded, it is a handful to say the least. Just put in a new conrod and wrist pin after 2 gallons. It really screams. My next engine will be a gen 6 from mmods. I have heard nothing but good things about mark and massive mods. Ed bridges is no slouch either when it comes to doing up these engines.

ebmods 5 port is nice i run the race tuned in truggy but if you are putting in buggy then fully mod will be great in there. i have never ran mm motor but from what the guys on here say they rip too. but i love my ebmods motor gets good run times and lots or power

pete 26 06-24-2009 03:06 PM

I run a Caster Grenade version of the Go tech 5 port and the thing really rips.Is there a difference between it and the Go tech 5 port?My buddy has a Go version and mine seems stronger.

zJatoRad 06-24-2009 03:43 PM

so are these officially Gen 6 engines?

gtxracer 06-24-2009 03:50 PM

How do you tell which generation you have?
