Mhhh in my opinion JP pipes are not the best for GO Engines, but if you want one, i have been testing couple friends engines 5 port with JP2 pipe and it runs very very good ...

OS P3/P4 and Odonnel 77T, and 97T are great choices, always on hot and medium range ...

VP PRO 3 shoes system with 1.0 springs its good for that engine/pipe combination but will depends on track condition, if too loose go down to .9 springs, and if its great grip/traction, 1.1 ones.

In other brands, OFNA 3 shoe red ones are good, and M2C 4 shoe system good too ...

i also measure and write down what the lengths and what type the line is and put it with my setup sheet so when ever i need to replace it for whatever reason i know what length its meant to be to remain legal.

Mike

Thanks, will try longer ones.;)

So, you would say about 30cm for pressure and 30cm for fuel line?

i have 2 of them here, the "new" one i was running and a spare that really needs a repinch. the new one i think the block and carb are throw away, when trying to remove the carb i was having alot of difficulty getting it to budge so out came the vise grips so the carb is for all intents ruined and it still hasnt moved.

Shipping the 2 of them in the us via priority mail would be about 7-8 bucks so any offer over that i will consider, the "new" one doesnt even have any scratches on the head and the glow plug is still good.

they are the blue head b21's

I will try a hotter plug when I put it back in, but right now I took the clutch and all and put it on the Nova to break it in. Un fortunately my free time to devote to figuring it out seems to be limited so I decided to break in the "N" motor so I can at least run/race this weekend and mess with Go when time permits. I have an extra clutch set up coming so I'll have complete setups on each motor. Easier switch out.

while u wait maybe try those new o-rings for the carb? or do the fuel line for o-ring mod? i ran into this problem last year gave up on it for awhile and then my overpriced speed went out and i had no choice but to get her right ...threw the speed carb on, fatned the mid range and that motor is by far my most favorite RC item i have ever owned...i have a very good friend testing it in his truggy right now ...and with the new carb comming out im extremely happy with what go's got going on right now....

besides not being able to find the new white go t-shirt im pretty happy

Well guys, from what we have gleaned out of a few people, it would be a fairly safe bet that these GX motors are the new Gen 6 version ?? Improved cooling head, Gen 5.5 carb (maybe improved some more - maybe a short LSN needle), Ti Ni coated 5.5 crank and wrist pin, perhaps an improved and modified rod ? - not sure.

That should keep everyone in suspense for a while until we find out more :D
