There are some posts in this thread about what the Champion is all about. Go back a few pages to find them.

Shane at Werks New Zealand is breaking one in. He may be done by now. You can get hold of him or wait for him to check in here.

Nope itīs gone, all options are 2205 variants now. Champion is a great engine I have over 3 gallons on it. Only issue I found is the carb needles moving due to the orings being loose.

Try Novarossi carb 24069, very reliable

Any comment with the 2103 pipe compare to 2072? My opinion:
-2103 good bottom but top end not strong as 2072
-2072 strong bottom n overall pipi even rev higher

Is a good engine, let just say gx5r, go champion 5port to sum it up.

Looks like DLC-coating on the crankshaft. If so, then this is a serious option.
