Go-Tech Engines Thread

Hi Rex - yep the 804's are proving very popular here. Majority of the top drivers are using them towards the end of the day when the track is hard and fast, and has developed a nice race line. They seem good in the very wet and muddy conditions too.
802's in the heats early on when the track is a bit dusty, then 804's in the finals seems to be the norm. I figure if the good drivers way above my level are using them, then they must be pretty good
Good tyres, good inserts - good value for money.

ok im havin issues here. i have a go 6port .28 and i resealed the whole motor up. right now it has a nova carb on it but i do have a go carb if needed.
but i cant get the tune right. i think its just a pipe choice because i switched from a jp3 to a jp2 and it made my tune a lot better but still not where i want. can someone tell me a good pipe for this motor or is it the carb or what

The jp pipes do not produce the best power on the go engines but it shouldn't effect tune of the engine, you may just need to take it out in the street and just work on getting it tuned. The novarossi carb should also not be making it harder to tune unless the carb itself or you tank/fuel line have an air leak.
But to answer your question the best pipe for that engine is the Go 801, then Go 2047, then Dynamite 086

the truggy needs a little hear and there also so im not in a big hurry. i do appreciate you wanting to help. i will prob take it 2 nitro pit when i get it going for race.
and i just resealed it, has a new tank, new lines. i can get a tune on it but i know there is somethin more it has. maybe its because i have a 13 clutch bell. switch to a 14?

i bought this truggy used. it has an airleak on both go motors i got with it. one go is in my buggy other is in my truggy both have been fixed. i havent made any adjustments on the truggy other then tune and switched exhaust pipes fromt he jp3 to jp2. I want a good low end but also a good high end. i know thats not possible but like a happy medium is. The nitro pit your able to reach high speeds and thats where i will be runnin this truggy at

I'm looking to replace the piston+sleeve on my 3R (stupid filter ziptie) and can't find parts for it on AMain. When I got the engine 6 months ago AMain had a dedicated area for this engine. Does anybody know why?
Thanks
Thanks

That links to the sport engine, I don't see anything on the race either. Not for parts, at least. There are several Go engine dealers on here that should be able to help you out.

Here's a vid of a 5 port in a buggy, Kendall Welch.
