Will G, on your .21 5 port which of the OD plugs do you use? I asked this before but forgot which it was. I run the P3 and lik them alot but they are getting pricey. I found the OD turbo plugs for like 1/2 the price of the OS. But I will say that I have got 4 weekends out of 1 P3 before, I am hoping the OD plugs are similar in quality and I will be a happy guy.

The hotter plugs will make the engine easier to tune and that is more important for the average racer then squeezing every bit of performance out if the engine.
I have found that the .25 and .28 engine prefer a colder plug, like the Go #6 or the O.S. A3, the o'donnel 99 would also be a good choice just be sure to get the O.S. specific plug for the engine.

I also thought that was "flush" thanks for the clarification. We have a club race this coming Saturday, will do this modification. I have always tuned the engine with the LHS technician (since i bought it from them), but since yesterday race (Futaba Cup) i can't bother him cause he also joined the race. That was my bad since i did not even learned by myself to tune this engine. I'm a complete noob with engine tuning. I already have around 4 gallons on this engine.
Ok so after setting .7mm to 1mm in the idle gap, flushing the HSN and LSN. Turn .5 in HSN and 2.5 in LSN. Engine running, what's the worst that could possibly go wrong?
will inform here once i had it tested.
Thanks,

IMPORTANT: I should have mentioned earlier - make sure you have your idle gap set correctly at .7 - 1mm max. If the idle gap is too wide you will struggle to get a good tune for sure.
Check LSN tune with pinch test (see tuning tip on page 132 from Massive Mods on how to do this).
Cheers

I raced my 3 port sport I modded last weekend! Wow this thing is awesome. I ran it only 220 deg. because it would have been too much power for the indoor track we were at.
Like Russell said, use Os style short plugs on any non turbo Go motor. The thread is shorter, you can use 2 washers also. We are using a Go #6 in Kendall's .25 and have 4 weekends on it, they seem to hold up pretty good.
