I used to start an 1/8 scale on that same starter box, I could only have pins in the front though so I had to manually align it. The power will be plenty to start the GO, but when the engine is brand new I'd definitely pre-heat the engine. You'll definitely want a new box if you're racing though because you need to be able to align the car quickly.

I just purchased a new in box 5-port race from a member on this forum. I'm going to put it in a Losi 8ight-T w/ a Dynamite 007HT. Any issues with this exhaust on the 5-port? I also have a JP-3 available, but honestly the JP-3 on my 3-port sport was a fuel hog, I could barely finish a 5 minute qualifier, with the 007HT I can easily run 8 minutes if not more. So I like the 007HT I'm just not sure how it will work with the 5-port.

I am now tooled up to lighten and epoxy ramp cranks new or used. I am also adding break in at a special price for my Go customers on new motors. Not something you get rich at with the time it takes but I feel it will help out for alot of people.

Adding a full mod with epoxy ramp to a new Go motor for only $40.00!
Break in $30.00

22racer any pics of your work? Just curious I got a slightly used 7 port coming my way soon. My buddy got a new sponsor for his mills so I told him I would take it off his hands but really I dont like the 7 port. Not that I dont like the engine they scream I just like less ports bause all the tracks around me are small. I really wanted a 3 port but for what i got it for what the hell. Maybe I will have you do it up. It has 2 gallons on it and while you got it apart you can put a new rod in it and check the bearings.

I'm running the 086 on mine and couldn't be happier. I'm thinking of trying my RB 2045/192 pipe/header to see how that performs...........hmmm that'll be my project for today

Supposed to get up to 60 today and I don't have to work

I'm not dropping $80 on another exhaust. I'm willing to bet the 007 will be awesome on a short track with the 5-port I just wanted to know if anyone had run it. If it for some reason doesn't work I'll try the JP-3 at the expense of fuel economy.

I have a Dynamite 007HT already, I was wondering how it would work on the 5-port race. I don't need all of the power of the 5-port, our track is short and technical.
