Careful with roto-starts bud. they are not all they're cracked up to be. They really slow down your engine, they strip out the one way bearing. They break, etc. etc. I would say after about 6 months you will have spent more money on parts and stuff to pay for a good starter box, and battery, and charger.

I am speaking from experience as I used to use them, before I learned the hard way. Just FYI

Rotostarts sound like a sweet idea but they can be a headache right along with pull starts.

Starter box is the only way to go.

Ive been having issues with my .28 go from the start. i got it used with my truggy and i cant get it to run right after everything ive tried. i contacted go as well to see what they say but in the mean time i need some advice.

i have a .21 5 port on my buggy right now. its had some fuel thru it so i just picked up a grp motor and going to try that out. but seeing the performance i got outta the .21 i was thinking since ive been havin so much problems with the .28 in my truggy i was thinkin of buyin a new .21 and throwing it in the truggy.

My question tho is, How well do the .21 do in truggys? its an 8ight-t. And also if i were to get a .21 for it whats a good motor the 3 port turbo or the 5 port turbo?

I agree the 5 port is the best choice for truggy because it has te most bottum end. I ran it last year in a heavy Cen TR FRE and mine is modded but I pulled OS .28 XZ's down the straight every time.

well if my grp doesnt preform as good as i want it to once it dies i will go back to go tech for sure in the buggy,

I wanna stick with a .21 in the truggy, mainly for fuel mileage but i need/want enough power in it to.

So the Go .21 5port is the way to go then?? Once i get my 2.0 buggy on the track witch this weekend is the last weekend for the 1.0 8ight so ill pull the go from it and throw it in the truggy and will see how it does. What pipe is good on the .21? im runnin a factory team exhaust witch i love. It helps the engine all around but i also have a jp 2/3 i can use to. i really dont have the money right now to get a new exhaust for the truggy because im having to get one for the grp

Like Will states, the 086 is sweet on the 5 Port, or you can try the 0801 which is strong too. Run 1.1 springs and alloy shoes. You will have plenty of power with the 5 Port and great ecomony too.
