Isn't there a for sale section??

You mean the section where you post something and within 10 minutes your post is on page 80? I have seen alot of guys post here for GO's they got for sale so I thought I would get more responses here.

This is a Go Tech thread, your selling Go Techs.. I don't see an issue.

I don't see an issue either. It is not like he is hi-jacking the thread. I think it is perfectly fine to mention what you have for sale in the appropriate thread. If you have ever sold anything on the "For Sale/Trade" section of this forum, you will know that within an hour your post will be burried at least 10 pages back.

vnmsgt is a authorized Go Tech Dealer and he seems to be a "Stand-up" guy. Other Go Tech dealers have mentioned having Go Tech products for sale on this thread an no one else has complained.:weird:

vnmsgt, continue doing what you're doing bro, offering Go tech products and great customer service to those who are interested in these fine mills. Good luck with your sales.;)

Thanks! BTW the .28 is sold so I just got the .25 left now. It is funny I thought the .25 and .28's would sell good but the .21's seem to be what is the best now and not too many guys I see with .28's anymore, Me included:D

Congrats on buying the 5 Port, you will love it.
These motors come shimmed from the factory for up to 30% nitro. It will run fine on 20% as it is. When your 20% runs out, bump up to 25% it's a nice safe % for good power. Use OS P3 if you can get them. Depending on ambient temps the 5 Port will run on anything from a #3 to a #6, but most guys find these motors run very well on the P3. You might like to get an 086 pipe as well for this motor. The 5 ports love em. Dynamite 086 is a good value for money pipe. Spend a little more and get the Go FEMCA 0801, just a tad better. Have fun :)

I'm approaching the 2 gal mark on my 3pt Race and am looking to replace the con rod. Looking on A-main they only show a con rod for the 5 port.
Are they the same?

Thanks!

22Racer 08-16-2008 07:43 AM

The 5 port con rod is the same.
Meno 222, you could run it with just the silver shim and no brass.

UNBELIEVABLE

I HAVE BEEN IN THE RC BACKYARD BASH STAGE OF THE HOBBY FOR 6 YEARS. I STARTED OFF WITH THE LOW LEVEL RC VEHICLES. THE DURATRAX MAXIMUM ST THEN WENT TO THE STREET FORCE 2. I HAD THE O.S 15 BLUE HEAD IN BOTH OF THEM. THE 2 SPEED STREET FORCE REACHED 49 MPH. I RECENTLY BOUGHT AN OFNA LX-1. MY INTENT IS TO AT LEAST START CLUB RACING. AFTER 2 MONTHS THE FACTORY .28 JUST PETERED OUT. I WAS GOING TO INSTALL THE O.S 21VG. MY LOCAL HOBBY SHOP TALKED ME INTO GETTING THE GO TECH .21 5 PORT. WITH A LOT OF HARD SELLING FROM THE STORE I BOUGHT IT. AFTER A DIFFICULT TIME OF BREAKING IN, I TOOK IT OUT TO A PARKING LOT TO TEST IT OUT WITH A FEW BUDDIES. THERE WAS A TEAM ASSOCIATED, REVO W/ RB523, AND KYOSHO. AFTER 5 MINUITES ON THE PARKING LOT I BALD MY FACTORY TIRES. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE POTENTIAL. THE OTHER BUGGIES HAD O.S. .21VG W/ JP-4 PIPES. I PUT A JP-4 PIPE ON MY BUGGY. I COULDN'T KEEP THE DARN THING STRAIGHT. I WENT BACK TO JP-1 PIPE FOR BETTER CONTROL. I STILL HAD POWER THAT I COUDN'T CONTROL. THE GO TECH IS A SECRET WEAPON. THE LESS OTHER PEOPLE KNOW THE BETTER OF YOU WILL BE

Hey,

I was just wondering if the length of the exhaust tubing could alter the tune of an engine.

As today when I was out I had about two inches of the tubing cut somehow, so I just plugged in what was left ( still quite long ) and all of a sudden I was running rich!
