LGC
It was mentioned at the gym opener that we're only doing Jack / SXT3.0 this year (not even sticky fingers), and I believe LGC was specifically mentioned as not allowed.
But Kody sells LGC, and I know of one person that didn't know better, bought some, and ran it on Saturday.
Can we get a clear, concise, for-the-record clarification on that?

It's Jack the Gripper and SXT 3.0 only.
Period.
Full stop.
Tires may be cleaned with either of the two compounds, Simple Green, motor spray, or water.

Interesting approac. To tire sauce here at IIC, community sauce at the community sauce table. You must sauce there with their Jack. If you have sau ce in the pits, its assumed you are cheating lol

Yeah it works great to even the playing field at big races. The secret to sauce for some top pro's is like black art. Super secret stuff. lol

Hey dudes!
I was wondering, does anyone have any thoughts, opinions, or inside info on the Xray T4'14 vs. the VBC D06? I've been checking the RCTech threads, Facebook, etc. but I can't always find the inside info, so I was curious about thoughts. I'm not always sure who to trust on RCTech, but I trust the locals (you guys!). That's why I thought I'd post here. I realize no one has run the T4'14 of course...
I've pretty much narrowed it down to those two. I'm quite curious to see what goes down at the IIC! I know there are other good cars out there, that said.
Anyway, I've heard that both the Xray and VBC are good cars, but it's a long term investment for me; hopefully I can run whatever car Dean and I settle on for 2 years or more. I want to make an informed choice.
I think I heard that the parts for the VBC will be available locally, so that's a plus. Also, the car is popular in the Northwest with a lot of setup support, another plus. The plastic parts are cheap compared to Xray.
I was leaning toward the T4'14, though, as my T3'12 is fairly indestructible. I think the only Xray brand parts that I've broken over 2 years of racing are two or three rear belts, one rear upright, and one composite shim! Of course, that doesn't include shearing off solid aluminum and even spring steel spool cups... technically not made by Xray, but anyway...![Sweating](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/sweat.gif)
No rush, though. I probably won't get a car til Christmas, though perhaps earlier.![Big Grin](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Thanks for any thoughts!
Sam
