Is anybody coming to Victoria for Speedweekend on the 6th. If you are is it possible for you to bring an 8oz can of Paragon FX2 (white and purple) that i'll buy from you when you get there. Just tried putting it on the Horizon order and it flags as Hazardous and will delay the order crossing the border until after speed weekend... Let me know... Thanks..Tiny

Pretty sure drifting won't be done on the carpet regardless..... picture guys out there doing it during practice with normal TCs and what not..... not going to work. Almost guarantee that there will not be enough to even consider it anyways. The Wednesday program needs to run as smooth as possible in order to flourish...

I will never run on a Wednesday anyways so consider this my $.02....

Being a man of leisure right now... Wednesdays would be easy, if I decide to grow up and get a job Wednesday nights would be tough from the Southend. Todd and I discussed it a little for UF1 action so maybe a special once a month?

How can you guarantee that there will not be enough interest? Have we tried to reach out to the drift community at all? I vaguely remember someone at the last club meeting mention that the drift scene around here is actually pretty big. I feel like we're giving up and/or discriminating a little prematurely.

Then again, that's just my $0.02

Not saying there is not enough interest in drifting just saying drifters don't need a $3500 carpet track on a Wednesday night crammed in club race. Plenty of space in the smaller part of the Hangar that won't have purpose built flooring (carpet track/tennis courts). That should do just fine...

It's hard enough to pass 3 f1 cars on practice lap after lap let along a drift car going half the speed and taking up twice the space , not being mean just realistic

And I gotta focus on passing Kyle every other lap!

Oh, sorry, we weren't talking about the same thing then. I'm not trying to argue for drifters to join the TC cars on carpet, I really don't think that would work at all. I was saying that we should figure out what to do with the rest of the warehouse space on Wednesday nights, and drifting may fill that void. They can either use the floor as is, or provide their own carpet/plastic/whatever. Point being, they could share part of the cost of renting the space for the night.

I don't think drifting would be good for the carpet.
Also what about spending a little more for carpet for the gym and just bring the old one back to the hanger!
I think that would make more sense to me.
There's my $0.02
