Have you been down to the LRRC?
No I have'nt, just checked out their website and it looks quite promising. The drivers stand looks pretty low, do you get a good view of the track? What's it like to drive?

Serpent option bits that fit the 710....

ok guys.. I know we cant all keep out 710's stock so has anyone tried any of the existing option parts that serpent have to offer?

808223 Inner Driveshaft Adaptors Light..... fit the front oneway, although you loose the locking function of the stock parts.

808220 Driveshafts Front... the Hudy spring steel bones for the front of the 835 fit both front and rear of the 710. They are actually just a smidgen(less than 0.5mm) shorter but fit very nicely.

Also the stock mid shaft is a fair bit shorter than the optional hollow midshaft for the 705/835 so it shouldnt take much to modify it to fit. I havent got one on hand to try, and I'm too lazy to pull it out of my 835 to check.

gobs of power??? I have been inside many a motor and seen lots of nice things, the crank work on the max was good but it pretty much ended there.. so in otherwords besides a fancy head and a good crank.. it was a stock nova..

the .12's really do not ever have milage issues except when you start messing with exaust port ht, and that isusually so close to legal that I recommend leaving it alone... remember all my stuff is roar legal.. 3 ports...

can hardly wait until dennis comes back in the game, I have as of yet ever had a motor thati sas fast as my gen2 ritchie... it was still capable of pulling on the big boys at last years winternats, just way to worn out would run too hot and bad milage... might have had something to do with melting the top of the piston off at worlds??

the max was better than every j-tech I have had my hands on though.. but not worth the extra cash...

Yes, its low but you can see the whole track quite well. Traction was low but now that some rubber is laid its improved to say ... low-medium.

and a finished car, for the most part, waiting on brake pads to come from fredrick( at his house) and thenit is off to florida... for the first time on the track... we will see, I am guessing the car will feel similar to the 705, and I now the ability to adjust it totally out of wack..

Mop, so when is the big bro getting the 710? Nice pics BTW.

p/s: Why is the throttle linkage from the carb to the servo horn very long?

Nope.

Anyway, from the pic, it looks like you're gonna have problems with the steering linkage. Test to see if you could set left and right steering throw the same...

No fancy work is done on the sleeve. I think the timings on the crankshaft window are different. Besides, this plus the work on the crankshaft outlet is the one that contributes most of the power on the engine.
