hey thanks for the tips guys! sry hvent been on in a few days. so the rear diff is the only one you shim? i didnt know that! cheap bearings huh? so like the $25 rubber sealed kits are perfectly fine? i wasnt real excited about chocking up $100 for a ceramic kit anyway! no real benefit to it?

dose it look right?

Looks like you could rotate the carb just a touch. That's an issue on the losi, the carbs end up real close to the diff. Some guys have shaved some of the mount to make a little more room for a tad straighter pull. I personally haven't had a problem with my carb rotated enough to clear...it's a tad off of perfect straight but works flawlessly.

Vitro will that truggy ever get fired? Anyway... Shave the back portion of the center diff by the carb boot to avoid it getting damaged when the chassis flexes. Also twist the carb out a touch and lower the ball. Do anything you can to get the straightest pull possible.

We dont even race here unless its at lease 50 degrees.... Engines like heat and they dont like fighting for it. When its freezing temps, your engines will struggle to get up to operating temps. Diminishes life. I started a Novarossi in the cold, It NEVER ran right.

Don't use cheap bearing kits, if you have the coin buy the genuine Losi bearing kit. Of all the RC bearings I have used they are the best ever, I don't know who makes them for Losi, but they just seem to out last everything else. Its all I buy now.
