I Absolutely Disagree! Go with Avid, TKO, BOCA, PROTECK. Dollar bearing, Never had any issue with anyone of these companies. And I would bet, MOST of the guys on here uses dollar bearings... There cars are hard on bearings, they all wear out pretty fast. I personally use Avids Revolutions for everything but clutch... For clutch I use steel shielded bearings. But you cant go wrong with any of the four.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with other brands, just that the Losi bearings last longer than any other bearings I have used. (And I've tryed at least 2 of the brands you have quoted) I use the King heads rear hubs with the bigger outside bearing, which seems to be the weak spot (especially on Truggy) along with rear pinion bearings. I also use the aluminium bearing inserts in the rear diffs. Apparently the plastic ones can get hot and melt in an hour long main.
The Losi Clutch bearings are expensive, but seem to last a lot longer than anything else. I use them for all major events as extra security, but I do use cheaper ones for practise and club days.

I agree with Token here. I'm almost certain in terms of overall quality the stock bearings are not as good as the TKO's or Avid.

Im in the same boat as well. The losi bearings are totally inferior. I run avid and ill never buy losi bearings again

Hmmm, I've had good luck with Losi as well as the aftermarket bearings. I'd have no problem using either. But I do clean and regrease bearings on a regular basis. I use the white lithium grease and bearing life is really a non-issue for my 1/8 vehicles.

Too each his own I guess.

The best bearings Ive used in my truggy have been Yellow Seal Avids. I use these on all of my diffs and wheels. The rest arent bad.

Y'all should try advantageracingproducts bearings. They are $1 each and work great.

You can spend a lot of money on bearings I have tried everything except the Teflon sealed ones which I am trying now on my exposed wheel bearings, I'll see how long they last compared to the rest but in my experience I get just as much life out of the cheap ones as I do the expensive ones unless of course they are in a sealed position not exposed to dirt and dust
