I dont think, from the few pics Ive seen dont think it will be a "new" car. I just think several parts. If the "newer" starter box top is the same, then I expect the same chassis layout... IMO...

new arms and towrs lay out?

Integra 01-25-2013 10:05 AM

Losi has BY FAR THE BEST Truggy arms in the Business. Nothing needs changing there.

Geometry, Maybe....But unlikely.

I think they can change the design in the arms a little bit. It is such a pita to get to the sway bar screws. If they were to angle them out so u can get a driver on them easier...

Why are you messing with the swaybar screws? The only time I ever touch those is when changin mud guards or rebuilding the whole car..

Just curious.

Just jumped into headfirst into truggy class with one of the discounted kits :).

Anyone have a good baseline setup to start off with for a track that's ~160x80, current layout pretty tight and technical 1/10th oriented without any big jumps (Omaha's Hobbyplex)? Tends to get somewhat dry/slick on nitro days but overall traction is decent on mostly clay based dirt.

I run Drake's 09 Nats setup on my buggy with a few minor tweaks and have been very successful with it. Something similar for the truck would be awesome.

Adam Drake's 2011 truggy setup is awesome. You can make changes from there to your own liking/driving style however it's a great starting point.

But the fact is that u had to take out the losi motors. Think it wouldve lasted 2 years bone stock?

chiefin on 420 01-25-2013 11:17 PM

My stock red RTR truggy box is 13 months in and bone stock. And I use it on my Mugen buggy also for the last 3 months. So I would have to say its not to bad. Other than it was wired backward. And was starting my motor in reverse. But it was still starting it. Lol....
