B5 is better suited for Truggy. You will be extremely happy with that matched up with a 2013 pipe. If you have the extra cash go for the pro edition. We have one in stock if you are interested ready to ship.

Hey guys, I need some help.
I got a great deal on a Savox 1257tg servo that i plan on using for throttle duty in my truck.
Problem: The truck started life as an RTR so it has those WONDERFUL Losi servos already installed.
SO the losi servo horn wouldnt fit on the savox servo so i bought a protek aluminum servo horn for the savox but i'm stuck now.
How do i/should i attach the throttle linkages? What do i need to get?
Thanks guys!!!

With throttle linkage and throttle horn, you can use the Losi stock horn, just change the plastic insert, its kinda a of a cream color insert, 25 tooth spline for savox. Its easy.

Its kind of a yes and no. You get a ceramic rear bearing and some other little mods. But the main thing is the look. Different head and black case. I have both and like the Pro better than the normal B5. Its just a personal preference for me.

Yeah, I bought the truck used. It came with a TON of stuff but I don't think those were included.
Anyone have a part number for those inserts?

I keep killing my rear diff, i have replaced the ring and pinion twice now and just killed the pinion bearings. What would the difference between buggy diffs instead of truggy ones? I have never smoked a buggy diff and they had onroad races with monster grip. I know they will fit and i know i need to replace both not just the rear. Does any company make something stronger?

Placed 3rd today luckily my pinion bearings held out long enough but they were NEW, just rebuilt

Jerome they need to be shimmed quite a bit tighter. That's the only difference I know of. You want no play at all. In fact it should be tight to the point where it feels notchy. The 1st time I ran truck I shimmed like the buggy. By the end of the 1st qual I heard it skipping. Added shims to the left side and it's been fine since.
