It's not as huge of a difference on the truck like the buggy.

I never had all of the lightened stuff on my truck at the same time. Just pieces added here and there. Maybe that's why I couldn't tell. There are so many variables...new clutch, tune , tires , track conditions. I think that if the OP really wants to see the difference, he has to try it all in one day and changing out all those outdrives at the track is probably the biggest challenge. It could be done, but I wouldn't want to.

To the OP: Frank may have a point here. If you install all the lightened parts at once, you would probably notice.

My race 2.0 buggy has all the lightened losi parts on it and I can tell a little difference from my buggy that is stock. The lightened one seems to accelerate faster and is quicker all around. Seems to handle a tad bit better overall.

On a seperate note how many of you with adjustable hinge pin braces run the 1's up front like Drake does? I put all 0's in mine to keep the stock setting. Just curious what changing the kick up really does.

Are you talking about the front, or rear pin braces?

The front adjustable hinge pin braces. On Drake's setup sheets it says 1's UP in the front.

Actually, most of if not all of drake's setups use the 0's in the front set of braces. In the rear set, the 1-up position is often used in front of the rear gearbox.

Your right. I don't know what I was looking at. I had his setups printed out and evidently wasn't paying very close attention to them lol. I have 0's all around at the moment and like it.

i ran the Serperant shock boots this weekend and they held up really well. I like the fact they ride the shaft insteand of the shockend. I will be ordering some more for sure.

did any dirt get around them?

Having more kick up (1's up in the front) will give you more on power steering but less off power and will be better through rough sections!

Not sure what you mean around them? The boot fits so tight it's air tight. Norway dirt can make it inside the shock.
