I remember when the lightened options came out. I installed them on the truck and I could actually tell a difference. The engine spooed up easier and faster and the truck just felt a little more responsive. Now on the buggy I had to take some of the light weight options off because it made the car to where I couldn't drive it. It was too responsive and too light. I think it does make a difference. It's not as huge of a difference on the truck like the buggy.
To the OP: Frank may have a point here. If you install all the lightened parts at once, you would probably notice. |

My race 2.0 buggy has all the lightened losi parts on it and I can tell a little difference from my buggy that is stock. The lightened one seems to accelerate faster and is quicker all around. Seems to handle a tad bit better overall.
On a seperate note how many of you with adjustable hinge pin braces run the 1's up front like Drake does? I put all 0's in mine to keep the stock setting. Just curious what changing the kick up really does. |

Are you talking about the front, or rear pin braces?

The front adjustable hinge pin braces. On Drake's setup sheets it says 1's UP in the front.

Actually, most of if not all of drake's setups use the 0's in the front set of braces. In the rear set, the 1-up position is often used in front of the rear gearbox.

i ran the Serperant shock boots this weekend and they held up really well. I like the fact they ride the shaft insteand of the shockend. I will be ordering some more for sure.

did any dirt get around them?

Having more kick up (1's up in the front) will give you more on power steering but less off power and will be better through rough sections! |

Where are you guys finding these "serperant shock boots"? I googled them and couldn't find anything. Is there somewhere I can look for these shock boots?
