Has anyone had this problem? The screw that holds the steering rack keeps coming loose and hits the front chassis brace. What can I do to prevent this? Thanks.

I had the same problem. I solved it the easiest way possible. I just took a look at the manual and noticed that the ackermann bushings were upside down. Make sure yours aren't. It will cause the problem. Once I put them correctly the "problem" was "solved". :)

You will also want to replace the whole servo saver plastic kit from time to time. I replaced mine after about 4 gallons but it was 8T1.0. Maybe the 2.0 plastics are better.

I carefully read the info on the X-Ray website and in a number of places they say the part being described is 7075. When the speak about the hexes they say it is "aircraft quality aluminum" which, is not necessarily 7075. Because they chose to be ambiguous about it I suspect the hexes are not 7075.:tire: So far Kyosho hexees are the only ones I found that make the claim but I suspect Serpant hexs may be 7075 because they are ridiculously expensive. Does any one know whther they Kyosho hexes will work on a Losi axle or what the Serpant hexs are made of?

I have a question/concern regarding the new 10 degree spindle in I'm hoping someone can help me with. First off, after I've installed them, I've noticed that my front driveshaft is BARELY in the outdrive yoke. I'm worried about this because I noticed that after putting in the new spindles, my camber is a serious negative degree now, haven't adjusted it yet. But I'm talking, probably about 7-8 degrees. And when I get it adjusted back to a 2 or 3 degree camber, the driveshafts might be close to coming out of the yokes. Do you have to get longer outdrive yokes for the 10 degree spindles?

Secondly, there are two camber link screw holes now on the spindle as compared to the only one in the stock spindles. I used the inner holes so my camber degree change wasn't as drastic before I have to lengthen my camber linkage to get me back to the -2 to -3 degree camber I run. Do these different holes do anything other than change your camber?

I just have to ask too, do the 10 degree spindles change anything other than your camber, or is it a 10 degree change in your kick up, or castor? Hope someone can help me out here, thanks

Chad

Sorry, Im retarded, I meant 10 degree caster blocks, not spindles. So I guess that answers my question about what it adds 10 degrees to, the castor. I still need help with the other questions. Thanks.

If you have an older 8T 2 you may want to order new front driveshafts because I believe Losi did a change to add like 2-3mm. I have seen others say to just use backs in the front too. Hope that answers your question;)

I don't think there is a difference between the lengths of the front and back drive shafts, are there?

M2C racing clutch system

I am sure this has been asked and answered many times... Just took delivery of a M2C clutch system for my Losi 2.0T. It will being going on an Alpha orange head. Just been playing around with it and seem to having issues with getting enough play in the bell... Does the stock losi 13t bell work with these clutch systems? How do people shim? I have had to insert a large shim at the end of the crank before the collet to stop the flywheel locking against the housing. Help please!

IMO Easiest and best way to run a M2C would be with an Adjustable motor mount and using a Standard OFNA bell, Yes you can get it to work with the stock bell but Imo the Ofna bell is the way to go.

I'll give em a second chance with a 3 vent bell. If it can handle a clocked mill then it's worth a try. One of Rex's mod GO .25's did this one in.

They are the same, BUT there where fronts on some of the originals that we're shorter. I know this because I replaced mine for the new ones after one fell out during a race.
