Ooh, I didn't even notice how short the wing mount was.

I guess that'd make since. Still looks goofy to me, though.

I'm not liking the look of the stock body. I'm keeping my fingers cross and hoping Proline and JConcept have a better looking body.

D1Rk 01-08-2009 06:14 PM

that body is theee ugliest thing i have ever seen.

I know Jconcepts will be able to pull of something better

I don't think its that the wing mount is short.... I think it is that the tower is REALLY tall.

Well since it dropps right onto the losi box, anything that worked with the 1.0 should be fine. so to answer your question, yes it should b fine.

I was just wondering since it is longer.

Unsober1 01-08-2009 07:54 PM

I don't think I can wait much longer..... I was hoping Mugen was going to have their truck out before the Nitro Challenge, but It looks like I will have to buy the Losi. I can only find Amain that is advertising it.

Anyone else pre-ordering it for less ?

$700 is quite a bit for a Losi

649 when I put it on my wish list, so I'm sure it will be cheaper when it's released.

SupermaxxRich 01-08-2009 08:10 PM

$700 for whats going to be the fastest truggy this year, I'd pay that easily. A Main is actually selling it for $650 once you put it in the cart. I'm sure Carolinas is selling it for the same and once you use a coupon its probable closer to $600:weird:

Ok we all have to face it. The 2.0 has 0 ofset wheels.
So how do I get those darn tyres of the rim. Not just one but 10 sets of 4.:batman:
Any tips or already posted thread nrs.

thanks

Signguy Gary 01-09-2009 06:22 AM

Hellsavage - I usually cut mine off the rims, but 10 sets of tires will cramp your hands for sure, I can usually get through 1 sets and thats about it, but I may be pulling to hard. I have heard of some people baking them off but I have never tried it and not sure how long you let them in I think it was something like 350* for 10 min. but I guess it stinks pretty bad so make sure the wife is going to be out of the house for a few hours afterward

Later

use 1.0 arms & CVD's till you burn off the 1/2 off tires. if you need a extra mm or 2 use buggy extended hex's.
