I use the ones below. They work great and are very consistent. Rebound will stay longer with these then the stock mugen ones for me.

I have never ran the Serpent ones so I cannot compare. The Mugen ones always lost rebound and more times then not when I removed the shock cap the bladder was partially compressed. The Kyosho have always been nice and round. The Serpent ones sound similar ones that Xray released a few years back. The ribbed Xray bladders worked good when I owned an 808.

To those of you running balloons as shock boots, were the ones you use much smaller in diameter than the original boots? I bought the long ones for making animals at Wal-Mart and I'm not liking how much smaller they are. They don't seem to be restricting the shock any, but I'm still not crazy about them.

Yeah, those don't look like what we're using, those are a lot skinnier than ours.
You want waterballoons.
They come in a pack of 100 and are a much better fit.

To those running the wide offset wheel hexes, what kind of change can I expect in handling when running these?

I have a friend who ran them in his eco Mugen and he said it felt as though it induced quite a bit of push in this car.

Comments?
