What silver springs are people running? I run at revelation ls raceway in Ontario ca. It's an open track, groomed, with mid size and one big jump. It's not too bumpy on an average day. Need some help on the set up. Thanks. And what shock oil go best with whatever springs (silver)?

8.25/75 Front(Short)
8.25/86 Rear(Long)
I feel these work real good at rev.
In ran at a bumpy astroturf track last weekend and I was running 450 front with 7.75 springs and 400 in the rear with 8.25 spring, with the stock white pistons, 2.6mm front swaybar and 2.8mm in the rear. I ran a very hard compound tire to make my car more forgiving. I usually drive with very thick swaybars (3.0mm front and rear), hard springs and thick oil and more grippy tire, but that just didn't work in those conditions.
The setup worked also great in the morning when the was damp and slippery, but with super soft tires.
After the straight there was a long, fast but very bumpy corner and I could close the gap with the leaders so fast in that corner. I wish my car was that dialed in every race
I think that this shock setup would also work on USA tracks, but I guess you can go a little softer on the springs (8.0f / 8.5r for example).

Chad, any idea when the new Werks manifold pipe ( the one that fits the mbx6r better) will be released?
Yeah, the XRay guide literally taught me more about setup than any other source to date. As I was discussing with sideshow in p/m, even something explaining- front/rear bushing position like- down = 0deg anti squat, middle = 1deg, etc. but I couldnt find one piece of info on the web directly relating to the MBX6R regaurding bushing location besides the little piece of toe block info in the manual.
On another note- Can someone tell me what spacers to use for Hitec servo's?
Another little tid bit not in the manual

I use the XB8 tuning section its from the older car but I find it more useful than some of their newer guides which they seem to have slimmed down on the info somewhat.

MBX6R US Edition
Overnight shipping from Cali. to New Orleans was not cheap-but worth every penny.
LOL I thought I was out of control driving 1 1/2 hours to get mine. Overnight on a kit is pretty hardcore!
BTW- To anybody getting the new U.S. Spec -
you are going to need to pick up a set(4) of 4x5 grub or set screws. The aluminum axle shafts now included need these. They give you 5x5 grubs with the kit, which I believe the steel shafts used.

I've been trying to find the answer to this and want to confirm. The hinge pin holes on the rear carriers... Using the lower hole (raising the hub from the lower arm) should increase rear traction?
Chad,
Noticed you've been running the stock white pistions (5x1.25?) over the optional black pistons (6x1.3). Why the whites and when would you use the blacks instead?
Also, what do you think about all of the tapered pistions out there for faster rebound?
Thanks for all the help.

I still looking for the new Mugen T-shirt with the big 'M'on the front side.
Somebody knows where to buy?
@dmartin:
Mugen pistons:
black (old) 6x1.25mm
white (new) 5x1.35mm
All Mugen drivers run the new pistons.

Ther still pretty hard to come by. Knowing people is when this helps but its mostly a team driver item.
