Bigger question: Why limit yourself to one shell? I know style counts for a lot, but function trumps it.

First off, I just love the Rover Mini's styling. Also my track is small so I want to keep the 210mm wheel base. I know the Abarth body fits and maybe other brands, but for now, I want the bodies to be all be Rover Mini's in different colors schemes on top of different chassis platforms.

M03, M05, V2, M-Four, CR, all Tamiya Rover Mini bodies, but they all drive completely differently for variation.

I tried other bodies in the past, but silver 225mm coupe bodies looked like a darn silverfish and black/dark colors looked like a frikkin' cockroach.. My red Alfa Romeo (M04) looks like a red cockroach. Basically too long.

That looks pretty cool, moneyracing! Good job!

I need to fix my WildWilly2 body this summer. Hope to do a camo for it.

Can't take credit for that. A talented friend painted it for me. I did the straight pink one.

Or maybe that's the cow that makes neopolitan ice cream 😜

What's that top body?

Oh, I'm embarrassed I didn't come up with that.

I like the all-pink body better!

My old standby, Corsa Grey, blended into the carpet too well.

I can see that happening at a large indoor course. When I use to race, I changed bodies between outdoor racing and indoors because the same thing happened. I can't see where my car went at the far end corner of the track!

I was driving my M03 last night and this is the only car that traction rolls on my course.. I have no more rear stepping out issues on my cars but now I need to figure out different tire setup for the M03. I'm thinking maybe I will use this chassis for my M01 body now, using the less grippy tires I ordered yesterday...

If you only want to run short wheelbase bodies one that I found worked well is the Honda S800 body. It is a short wheelbase, has low center of gravity and allows you to tuck the 60D wheels under the body.

this isn't my image, but you can see how the wheels fit under the body nicely w/o rubbing:

I ran the Mini Cooper body for about 3 races and stopped. Those darn wheel wells really get in the way for me.
