Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Yes, AE Part #91709 is called "B6 Chassis Braces" and that part number consists of both the waterfall brace for the standup and lay down transmissions.

Default B6 Side Rails

Are the two slots in the siderails for taping your cell in? I had not seen them before because of the picture angles. I see a lot of guys doing that.

Double sided tape instead. Most people won't tape them in like they do in sedan's.

Default B6 on Clay

I got a B6 in Australia
Its a impressive kit, i bucked the trend and went the B6 for Clay

It is so different to the b5m.
Lots of good stuff to report
The front end feels much more tight
The laydown feels so nice going around corners for me
It accelerates very fast.

The bad- The manual is full of mostly small and a couple large errors.
I started marking them down so i can try to help people with them.

I have some video from tonight racing with 2 b6d's + my B6 on indoor clay i will post

Default New B6 kits

I saw a pic Kinwald posted last week of his kit on Facebook when he started building and one of the bags had aluminum rear suspension holders, can anyone confirm if this new car includes rear aluminum C/D suspension holders ?

It includes an Aluminum C mount...the D mount (furthest back) is plastic. You may also need a set of inserts (they are the same for C/D mount), not positive though. Better to have and not need than need and not have.

Tower / AE have quite a bit of parts up right now....amain has some.

Aluminum D mount: 91688
Inserts: 92014

Same shock tower for the B6/B6D. Not sure why that is pictured.

yeah, no idea why he posted a picture of the stock tower. Maybe that was in package from AE, and he just posted everything in the package.

It looks like the shock tower in Jason's picture is the long rear shock tower to run the B5 longer rear shocks 91666
