I wonder if the new front and rear hubs will fit on the B5M. I have a laydown conversion in it already and if I could adapt the new hubs I'd just keep it for carpet and get a B6D for clay.

These look really nice. I was expecting a new 4WD to be announced before a B6.

The B6D would be what you want for 95% of clay tracks. There are a few stupid high grip clay tracks that have similar grip levels as carpet / astro. That's where the B6 would shine.

Well to be honest if one races on carpet or high bite the B6 looks to be very very good. The key for me besides the laydown tranny are the weights on the chassis. I run mod (6.5T) so extra weight is not such a big issue. My B5M is almost brand new but I will buy the B6 when it is available.

Thanks, around here almost everything is Clay. Honestly, I just bought a B5M and can't make it around the track 3x without crashing, so that is my focus right now. I was just trying to point out that without the laydown transmission, the B5M and B6D don't "appear" that radically different. The B6 (Carpet), though, does.

I only have the hopfully new AE 4WD in my budget for this years season. The B44.3 is still a great car, but I might have the get this instead. Haha

Arrival ETA?
My hobby shop says June? Anyone hear anything else? In any event I may just look for the carpet. To me the Dirt doesn't look a whole lot different
