Closed cell all the way around running AKA typos.
Also have a Losi pink set no bars in rear and tapering up front.
i did some tuning today, running a 6.5 motor went to a 19 tooth pin up from 18. Also put pink LF springs in rear. I added the associated tall spring cups in the front to avoid ride height issues. I also moved my front camber links up to the inside top hole and put a 2MM spacer under the ballstud really smoothed out the car after these adjustments. Absolutely having a blast driving. After about 9-10 packs belts are still tight and in like new condition

Do you have a part number for this shock cup?

The car looks like it squats more than it actually does due to the shape of the body. What set up are you running currently?

I went ahead of myself and missed putting in the spacer. Did not think it was a problem to correct.

BOY O BOY - I can't get the pin out (TLR2974). Those who are built the kit, try for yourself.

Mine is locked in. I tapped it down to the shaft with a screwdriver. I still cant pull it out. The pin is to to short and tight to pull !!!!!!!

Everyone will need to change/clean bearings. Try taking the pin out for yourself

TLR staff- try pulling out your front pins. Good luck.

Why did you not use the same pin idea as the SCTE?
If you really cant get it, take an .050 from the opposite side and tap it out.

I haven't had any issues getting correct ride height on multiple cars now. This should not be an issue.

Are the shock retainers 5mm or 9mm offset. Just curious because I have some but not sure of the part numbers for them.

What compound typos are you running? I'm waiting for my kit, and will likely be running at LHR once its complete.

Try moving the rear hubs forward, lowering the front ride height, or running thicker oil in the front.

I ran Gold Dirt Webs the week before Reedy at OCRC, and they were AWESOME. I'd highly recommend them.

Clay compound. I'll be running mine there at LHR with those as well. Should be up this weekend.

How did the Gold Dirt Webs compare to the Ions you ran at the Reedy?

I ran the double dot Ions (Reedy Race tires) and went faster on dirt webs, and they have lasted more than twice as long already and still have rubber....

My youtube channel in my signature has various TLR videos including the 22-4. Thats my home track leisure hours archway in joliet illinois, I'm currently running a trinity d3.5 6.5t 84/19 geared with 15 degrees of can timing. Zero esc timing or boost and I will say it has plenty of power. Very easy to control. This may be due to the "sponsored" pros running Orion motors that no offense are a turn slower then other motors. I love orion esc's though. I'm running clay compound well because I run on clay. If it does get blown out dry and dusty we do switch to super softs
