With the Orion R10 I am using the Orion Sensor Wire 110mm Part #ORI41446.

Depends on how tight you make the belts. Also realize static drag is not the same as what you will see when you spool up the system.

Since I have no idea what different cars weigh - just how heavy is the 22-4? Compared to something like the B44.2, ZX-5, or Durango? I know they ADD ballast weight to the 44.2...

I'll be goin 6.5 too thats what I had in my b44.2 sunday. I figure thats a good motor to start with till I get comfortable with it. And I'm on a tight track 90% of the time anyway.

Plus there is always boost

I have a 6.5 ready to go in my car but I will admit the 5.5 in Dunfords car does not feel like too much motor. The car handles lots of power quite well. Not saying you need to go down to 5.5 but if you do it's fun.

If you are buying a motor, buy a 5.5. We have tried and tried 6.5's and they are ok, just get super hot. Every one that has put a 5.5 in and thats pretty much everyone agrees its much better suited for the car.

Llike most have said before, you can turn it down sum but you cant turn up a 6/5,,,,,,,If you have a 6.5 try it but like Ryan said if BUYING a motor.go 5.5!!!

I haven't ran a 5.5 in my 4wd yet, but to me a 6.5 it feels like enough. A D3.5 motors tend to be faster than anyone else's motors so I would think it would be enough.

I have a very aggressive driving style so a 6.5 lets me push the car harder without getting in trouble by grabbing to much power at times. This is a personal preference though, like I said above I haven't ran a 5.5 yet.

I have my 6.5 geared at 18/84.

This support is one of the main reasons I will be racing this car! It's great. Looked at many other cars and for me it really comes down to how much of my dollar spent is staying/going to others involved in r/c. The way TLR has run the past 2 years with the excellent support and great feedback has been top notch. Oh yea, the car looks good too... Hoping for gear diff option with time.
