Hi guys, just a quick question. Now with the +8 chassis becoming the standard, are there any other body styles that will fit. I only ask because I'm looking at getting into some off road racing and the cab fwd design bodies don't really appeal to me.

Im getting one of these instead of the TRF 201.
Id rather have hex style wheels #1. And plus Big Bore shocks.
I just converted my non-factory team SC10 for oval racing.
Im running my Factory team SC10 in mod offroad.
This car im gonna run offroad as well.

In reality, all the bodies fit. There's just a 8mm gap where the body is behind the front tires. So instead of the body covering the chassis completely, some chassis shows. Really the only one that would notice is you. My car started out as a RTR but since then every single part other than the shock towers has been replaced, including the 8mm and I'm STILL running the RTR body. It's kind of a sleeper. Well, I do have 2 custom bodies being painted this very moment, 1 is technically a +8 body (Bulldog), but I'm also having a FTW cab forward body being painted which is a "regular" length. The only time a "regular" length body will screw you is if you plan on using body clips. The rear clip will fit, but the front won't line up. Not an issue for most of us as most that race run velcro.

Here's what the "regular" length RTR body looks like on a +8 (and otherwise Worlds car). Notice the gap behind the front tires where the chassis starts. If you're comfortable with a slight gap, any stock length body will work for you:

It should drop right in, goes in between the grearbox and battery tray. post ia pic and maybe we can solve the issue.

have you tried rotating the weight? I noticed it would not fit right in a certain way.

More then a gap you are putting up with , less down force as well ....
